Padi Divemaster Training: An Overview


Padi Divemaster Training is a scuba diving certification that can provide you with the skills and knowledge to become a dive professional. PADI training programs are designed to teach individuals how to be Padi Divemasters in three ways: by taking Assistant Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor, or Advanced Scuba Diver courses. Whatever your goals may be, there is an option for you!

– There are over 500 Centers worldwide
– The minimum age requirement for this course is 12 years old unless they have taken the Junior Open Water Diver Course
– This program costs $1,900 and takes four Divemaster certification dives and five Instructor Development Program (IDP) Sessions.
Padi Divemasters can work in various Career Scuba Diving Industries: Resort, Cruise Ship, Liveaboard or Yacht, Commercial Diving, and Technical.

Padi’s Divemaster Training Course teaches you how to plan dives and confidently lead groups of divers on safe and enjoyable adventures underwater. It also covers customer service skills, including salesmanship, first aid, basic rescue techniques, teamwork concepts, diver safety awareness education, and more!
