What is NDIS?
The NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme. NDIS OT Kalgoorlie provides support to people with disabilities, their families, and carers. The NDIS aims to help them achieve greater independence by providing a range of services tailored to the individual’s needs.
How does it work?
People diagnosed with a permanent disability can apply for NDIS OT Kalgoorlie funding if they meet the eligibility criteria set out by the NDIA (National Disabilities Insurance Agency). Once you receive your package of supports from NDIA, there will be an agreed-upon list of providers that you can access as part of your plan.
Who can apply?
NDIS can provide support for people of all ages who need assistance with their daily living. NDIS may help you if you have a disability, permanent or temporary injury, physical illness, mental disorder, or past trauma (for example, as the result of torture).
NDIS can provide a great deal of support for people living with disabilities. NDIA will work closely with you to develop your goals and map out the plan that best suits your needs.
